Returning to exercise after back pain can feel intimidating.
Even when the worst of the pain has eased, many people remain fearful of bending, lifting, running, or exercising normally again. You may worry that one wrong movement could “throw your back out” or cause reinjury. In some cases, the fear of pain becomes almost as limiting as the pain itself.
